Kyriaki Protopsalti - Polychroni M.A., C.G.P., E.C.P. Scientific Team Athenian Institute of Anthropos (A.I.A.)

Kyriaki Protopsalti–Polychroni is a Social Psychologist, Systemic Group and Family Psychotherapist, Trainer and Supervisor.
She is a founding Member of the European Family Therapy Association (EFTA) and, currently, General Secretary of its Training Institutes’ Chamber (EFTA-TIC). She is also a Member of the American Academy of Family Therapists (AFTA).
Since its relaunching in 2008, Kyriaki is Joint-Editor of Human Systems.

She holds a position of Visiting Professor at Tibiscus Univesity in
Timisoara, Romania and conducts workshops throughout Greece and Europe.

Kyriaki is very involved in experiential training both of professionals and of family members (especially mothers) with the aim of their sensitization to family dynamics and the development of new relational skills. She is extremely interested in the influence  of socio-cultural change on the Greek family, particularly as related to the couple relationship and to the woman’s role.
Other areas of her interest include:- Understanding transmitted culturally-defined patterns of relating echoed in the individual’s inner voices as a means for facilitating change in the Family. - Attachment theory and emotionally focused couples therapy
